When is Kamika Ekadashi 2024?
According to Drik Panchang, the Ekadashi tithi of Krishna Paksha of Shravan month will start on 30th July at 04:44 pm and will end on the next day i.e. 31st July 2024 at 03:55 pm. Therefore, according to Udayatithi, the fast of Kamika Ekadashi will be observed on 31 July 2024.
auspicious time of puja : On this day, the auspicious time for worship is from 05:32 AM to 07:32 AM. This time Kamika Ekadashi will be celebrated in Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga.
Pass Timing:
If you are observing Kamika Ekadashi fast on 31st July 2024, then you can break the fast from 5:43 am to 8:24 am on 1st August. On this day, Ekadashi Tithi will end at 03:28 PM.
Method of worship:
Wake up before sunrise in the morning on the day of Kamika Ekadashi.
Wear clean and neat clothes after bathing.
Meditate on Lord Vishnu and take a pledge to fast.
After this, spread a red or yellow cloth on a small stool.

An angry Thakur ji lived in a village. One day he had a fight with a Brahmin and in anger he killed the Brahmin. Expressed his desire to perform the last rites of a Brahmin to atone for his sin, but the Brahmins did not allow him to do so. Thakur was accused of murdering Brahma.
One day Thakur asked a sage about the solution to get rid of the sin of killing a Brahma. Then the sage advised to observe Kamika Ekadashi fast to get freedom from this sin. He told that by observing this fast properly, all the sins of a person are destroyed.
Thakur observed Kamika Ekadashi fast as per the advice of the sage and worshiped Lord Vishnu as per the rituals. Lord Shri Hari appeared to Thakur in his dream and freed him from the crime of killing a Brahma.
