LPG Price: Rs 7 deducted by budget 2025 19 kg cylinder rate


Oil marketing companies have reduced the price of commercial LPG gas cylinders with new rates effective from 1 February. The cost of 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder has come down by Rs 7.

According to data from the Indian Oil Corp website, in Delhi, the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder will be reduced from Rs 1,804 to Rs 1,797. The price in Mumbai has earlier reduced from Rs 1,756 to Rs 1,749.50.

While the cost of 19 kg commercial LPG will now be Rs 1,959.50 in Chennai, its cost will be Rs 1,907 in Kolkata.

This is the second consecutive month of LPG deficiency for 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders. The final reduction in the price of commercial LPG was on 1 January.

However, the prices of domestic LPG cylinders will remain unchanged. Domestic cooking gas prices were last revised on 1 March 2024.

The reduction in LPG prices comes ahead of the Union Budget 2025 which will be subsequently presented on Saturday.
