Mercedes Benz EQA launched in India, will run 560 Km on full charge


New Delhi. Mercedes-Benz has launched its most affordable electric SUV EQA in India, with a starting price of Rs 66 lakh (ex-showroom). This is the electric version of the Mercedes-Benz GLA, whose fully loaded version EQA 250+ is also available.

Talking about the design, the new EQA has LED light bars at the front and rear, a new grille with a three-pointed star pattern, 19-inch alloy wheels and wraparound LED taillights. There are seven colors available to choose from, which include Polar White Hi-Tech Silver, Cosmos Black, Mountain Grey, Spectral Blue, Patagonia Red and Mountain Gray Magno.

Talking about the features, Mercedes EQA is equipped with 360-degree camera, HUD, gesture control, dual-zone climate control, electrically adjustable tailgate, four drive modes, panoramic sunroof, two 10.25-inch screens and seven airbags.

The 2024 EQA has a 70.5kWh battery pack paired with a single electric motor, which is claimed to give 560 km of range on a full charge. The power output of this car is 188bhp and 385Nm.

The EQA takes seven hours and 15 minutes to charge from 0-100 percent using 11kW AC charging, while it takes just 35 minutes to charge from 10-80 percent using a 100kW DC charger. In India, the EQA will compete with the BMW iX1 and Volvo XC40 Recharge.
