An industry official said on Saturday that the domestic steel industry should be on guards as countries exporting to the US can remove shipments in India after imposing tariffs. With tariffs announced by the US on steel and aluminum imports, countries sending shipments in the US can dump products due to heavy domestic demand in India, Jindal Steel and Power Limited President Naveen Jindal said at the global trade summit here.
