How to perform Havan?
Get up in the morning before sunrise on Ashtami or Navami Tithi.
Wear clean clothes after bathing.
After this, make a Havan Kund by placing bricks.
Light incense sticks near the Havan Kund and make a Swastika.
Place square mango wood in the Havan Kund and burn camphor.
After this, start carrying the offering.
Offer sacrifice in the name of Navagraha. Offer sacrifice to Lord Ganesha.
After this, offer sacrifice to Lord Brahma and Bholenath.
After Havan, perform Aarti of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Durga.
