Sources said Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was admitted to AIIMS in New Delhi in the early hours of Sunday, which after complaining of restlessness and chest pain, the sources said.
73 -year -old was taken to hospital around 2 pm
Dhankhar was given the head of the Department of Cardiology in AIIMS, Dr. He was admitted to the important care unit under Rajiv Narang.
He is stable and under observation, a source said, adding a group of doctors is monitoring his position.
Union Health Minister JP Nadda visited AIIMS to inquire about the situation in Dhankhar.
