The month of Sawan is dedicated to the worship of Lord Bholenath. This time, it will be very beneficial if many festivals fall together in Saavan. In such a situation, devotees will be able to fulfill their wishes by pleasing Bholenath.
According to priest Santosh Tripathi, a person gets special results from the worship done in this holy month of Saavan. Lord Bholenath definitely fulfills all the wishes of his devotees. This time Saavan has brought a very amazing coincidence. This year, two Mondays are falling in Krishna Paksha and three Mondays in Shukla Paksha, which will be very beneficial. He said that Sawan is starting from Monday, July 22. The first Monday will be on 22nd July, the second on 29th, the third on 5th August, the fourth Monday on 12th August and the fifth and last Monday on 19th August. Rakshabandhan, the holy festival of brothers and sisters, is also on 19th August.
Char Mangala Gauri Vrat
Mangala Gauri fast will also be observed in Sawan itself. This fast is observed by married women, which will continue every Tuesday till 23rd July, 30th July, 6th August and 13th August. Shivratri is also on Friday, 2nd August.
According to the Puranas, worship of Bhole Shankar, Abhishek, praise of Shiva and chanting of mantras have special significance in Saavan. Especially on Monday, both Shiva and Shakti are pleased by worshiping Mahadev.
