Today is Somvati Amavasya. The month of September is considered special for some festivals. Many major fasts and festivals will be celebrated this month including Hartalika Teej, Mahalaxmi Vrat, Ganesh Utsav, Radha Ashtami, Rishi Panchami, Pitripaksha. Astrologer Pandit Umesh Shastri Daivagya told that there will be a change in the zodiac sign of three big planets. The month started from the second date of Krishna Paksha. For this reason, fasting is very important not only for festivals but also for planetary transits. On September 7, the first revered among the gods, Shri Ganesha will also arrive. Lord Ganesha will be present in homes and pandals for 10 days. There is also Amrit Siddhi Yoga on 19th, 23rd and 26th and Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga on 7th, 9th and 20th. There will be a self-evident Abuj Muhurta on Ganesh Chaturthi.
