When is the second Pradosh fast of the month of September?

According to Drik Panchang, Trayodashi Tithi of Ashwin month Krishna Paksha will start on 29th September at 04:47 PM and will end the next day on 30th September at 07:36 PM. The second Pradosh fast of this month will be observed on 29 September 2024 and the Pradosh Kaal Muhurta for worshiping Shiva will be from 06:09 pm to 08:34 pm.

Worship method of Pradosh fast:

On the day of Pradosh Vrat, wake up before sunrise in the morning and wear clean clothes after taking bath. Meditate on Lord Bholenath and take a pledge to fast. After this, clean the temple and spread a red or yellow cloth on a small platform and install the idol of Shiva family. Now worship Lord Shiva properly. After this, if possible, take bath again for evening puja. Offer all the puja materials including water, belpatra, fruits, flowers, dhatura on Shivalinga. Listen or recite Pradosh Vrat Katha during puja. Chant Lord Shiva’s seed mantra ‘Om Namah Shivay’ with Rudraksha rosary. In the end, perform aarti of all the gods and goddesses along with Shiva and Gauri. If possible, definitely visit Shiva temple and have darshan of Bholenath. Offer water to Shivling. Finally, apologize for the mistake committed knowingly or unknowingly and distribute the Prasad among all the people present in the house.
